The Loud Scream
Numerous human beings go through different kinds of
discrimination and inequality nowadays. Discrimination which trigger off
depression and inequality which induce an individual to decrease self-esteem.
This is such an alarming circumstance we live through in this generation that
demand a meticulous solution to lessen the increasing number of people who were
seeking for equality- equal rights and equal opportunity.
Equal rights! Equal opportunity! The loud scream
of each one of us especially to those who were suffering from inequality. We
all have the authority to exist here on Earth freely, to put into words what’s
on our mind, to live in any way we want and the right to a wholesome social
life. But from time to time, I can’t keep my mind from reflecting and keep
myself from interrogating, “Does this things really matter equally?” Sometimes,
it feels like the powerful one has the greater privilege or right. They can
even control us- we, the small ones. They all have the opportunity to subdue
weak individuals. They were deeply honoured and was recognized and treated
special a hundred times than an ordinary citizen. There were also some
instances where unfavourable treatment based on prejudice happen. One specific
example is the “Gay-Lesbian Discrimination”. We are not in the position to
judge them (gays and lesbians) for whatever reason because they were just being
true to themselves, they were just being who they wanna be. Who are we to judge
them? We cannot feel what they’re feelings but it’s true that they always come
across Hardships but they prefer to live because deep inside, they know that
they have special purpose in life- to live life to the fullest according to
God’s will and was born to be true not to be perfect. Not just in rights, where
there is no parity even in opportunity, there exist. There were state of
affairs that favouritism shown to relatives in appointing them to jobs takes
place, which is called Nepotism. They designate employee not by basing on
capabilities, abilities and knowledge but based on how they are related with
each other. Isn’t it that God created the World for all of us- without
exemption? But why are we acting this way? Why are we keep on judging and
discriminating? It’s simply because the world is unfair, the world is imbalance
not because of God but with the hands of wrong people. There is equality if we
know how to fight for our own rights and own opportunity. Don’t let anyone
judge and control you for we have the right and don’t be a slave because we
have the opportunity
